The band Who Parked The Car is the winner of the Made in New York Jazz Competition 2024 in the Bands category!
The band took part with their track Other Side, with a much faster tempo and a festive, danceable jazz-funk arrangement.
The New York Jazz Competition 2024 was launched in 2013 by Michael Brovkine, a jazz enthusiast and music producer. At the end of the competition, the winners receive a prize of 3,000 dollars and the opportunity to play at the Jazz Gala in New York, among other things.
This year’s judges are 6-time Grammy Award nominee Mike Stern, 18-time nominee and 6-time Grammy Award winner Randy Brecker and 3-time Grammy Award winner Lenny White.
