As part of its 28th “Des Rives et Des Notes” festival, Jazz à Oloron is organising for the 16th time a springboard for instrumental jazz groups (from solo to quintet) from France and elsewhere.
They will play their jazz compositions, influenced by blues, rock, world, contemporary/classical music, and hip-hop or other.
The competition will take place on 24 June 2023, under a big top, in public and before a jury of partners, journalists and musicians. The four selected groups will play a 40-minute set.

The springboard prizes :
- First prize of the TREMPLIN: 1000€ and possible programming on the next edition, in or off.
- Audience Award: programming the next day at the Des Rives & Des Notes festival off (union fee)
- Oloron town hall: Cash prize of €600
- Best instrumentalist: cash prize of €300
- Tonnerre de Jazz” prize: Programming for the 20223/2024 season in the PAU agglomeration
- L’Astrada: The presence of a representative of the structure offers the possibility of programming in Marciac (subject to confirmation)
