Fascinating Rhythm(s), The Amazing Keystone Big Band’s new album, celebrating George and Ira Gershwin, was released on 8 November 2024.
The twelve tracks, arranged by Bastien Ballaz and Jon Boutellier, cover a wide range of styles, from avant-garde sounds to the most ardent swing, and from blues to 70s Brazilian music.
Each piece is a playground for the big band’s seventeen musicians, highlighting five young singers who, each in their own way, bring their own personal touch to this musical journey. Among them, one voice stands out in particular: that of Neïma Naouri, a former student of the IMEP – Paris College of Music.
The Amazing Big Band will be in concert in Paris at the Théâtre du Châtelet on 9 January 2025
