The IMEP – Paris College of Music Student Association is delighted to welcome Randy Esen for a vocal improvisation workshop and masterclass on Saturday May 11 in Studio B at IMEP.
Born in New York and raised in Boston, Randy Esen’s musical journey began at the age of 16. Later, she continued her studies at Oberlin Conservatory and the University of Massachusetts, immersing herself in jazz and R&B. She has performed internationally, collaborating with renowned artists such as Tommy Campbell, Tiger Okoshi and her husband Aydin Esen. For over 14 years, she has been teaching singing in Turkey, first at the jazz department of Bilgi University for 4 years, then at the Hayart Arts Center in Istanbul, where she was founder and director, and currently at the Haceteppe State Conservatory in Ankara, while giving private lessons and workshops in Istanbul.
