The IMEP is honoured to welcome the exceptional Brad Mehldau for an exclusive masterclass!

The pianist will be teaching students at the IMEP – Paris College of Music. Subject to availability, the masterclass will be open to the public.

We look forward to seeing you on 13 February from 11am to 1.30pm for a masterclass with Brad Mehldau!

The masterclass will take place in the Auditorium of the Pavillon de la Sirène, our partner at 20 rue Dareau, 75014 Paris.

Brad Mehldau, one of the most lyrical and intimate voices in contemporary jazz piano, has forged a unique path that embodies the essence of jazz exploration, classical romanticism and pop allure.

Critically acclaimed as a conductor, Brad Mehldau has made a name for himself on the international scene, collaborating with Pat Metheny, Renee Fleming and Joshua Redman.

He continues to win numerous awards and to win the admiration of jazz purists and music lovers alike.

With his self-proclaimed affection for popular music and his classical training, Mehldau is the most influential jazz pianist of the last twenty years – The New York Times.
