Here’s some news from the IMEP network, alumni, teachers and current students, to share with you over the summer!

Alumni :

The group Lapsang, made up of IMEP alumni Quentin Lupinko, Hugo Rongières and Pablo Ramirez, and accompanied by Colombian singer Andreîa, release the track Suis-moi.

Kalupto‘s first EP, featuring Calypso Larrazet-Llop and Victor Gonon, is now available. It is called Static Hideout. Kalupto will be in concert on September 4 at Boule Noire and on September 7 at Hasard Ludique.

Roxane Terramorsi is back with a new indie-pop project entitled Minuit Soleil. The first single La Voix is already available

Teachers:

Romain Pilon, guitarist and teacher at IMEP, suggests an exercise to practice your instrument!

Listen to IMEP teachers Rick Margitza, Manuel Rocheman and Peter Giron, accompanied by drummer Jeff Boudreaux, every Monday from 9pm at LaGare le Gore. They’ll be playing all summer long!

Students:

Georgina Brown will be posting a series of acoustic covers of her favorite songs this summer. Here, she covers Justin Bieber & Chris Brown’s Next to You.

Finally, if you missed it, the replay of Cyprien Mélange’s live show is available on Youtube. Elie Migairou-Feldman, Cynthia “Awori” Othieno and Cyprien Truchot look back on their first year in the Professional Program at IMEP. Punctuated by beautiful musical moments, the three friends chat in all honesty!
