Akata Kolo Orchestra is a Parisian afrobeat group that sets stages ablaze with a dynamic, sunny energy. Their music is a call to dance, a festive, intoxicating groove that captivates its audience. Fusing African rhythms with electric energy, the band create a vibrant atmosphere where joy and celebration are omnipresent. Following the release of their debut EP ‘Akatatown’ and a sold-out New Morning (Paris) in October 2023, the band are now hitting the road to spread their spellbinding melodies to an ever-growing audience. Critically acclaimed, the band embarked on their first successful European tour in April 2024.
