The Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation’s call for applications for young musicians is now open!
The Foundation offers a €15,000 prize to musical talent up to the age of 30, in jazz or classical music.
The Musician grant is awarded to a young musician or group of musicians (songwriter and/or composer and/or performer) who has already recorded an album (or EP) and is presenting an original musical creation project.
The applicant(s) must have already signed a contract with an independent label, or an independent tour manager, or an independent publisher, or an independent digital distributor, for the previously released EP or album.
The Musician bursary is divided into two categories: Current Music and Jazz and Classical Music, awarded alternately from one year to the next.
In 2024, the call for applications for the Musician grant (jazz and classical music category) is open until June 16!
