Peter Giron studied at Westminster College (Princeton NJ). In New York City, he studied violin, viola, electric bass and double bass.) Still very much a fixture on the French and international stages, he works with a wide range of musicians. He has worked with Charles Earland, John Purcell, Luther Allison, Kurt Elling, Dave Liebman, Rhoda Scott, Hal Singer, Kirk Lightsey, Sarah Morrow and many others. Concerts and tours: USA, Europe, Asia and Africa. He taught at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Montpellier and was a member of the former teaching staff of the American School of Modern Music from 1988 to 2016. He was co-managing partner from 2005 to 2016.
