Drums teachers
Maxime Charray has been trained in drums and classical percussion at the CRD in Clamart since the age of 6, where he obtained his DEM in jazz drums in 2019.
At the same time, he trained in writing and composition, as well as in playing jazz in small and large ensembles, at IMEP, from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then perfected his theory at the CRR of Paris. Il exploite ses connaissances au sein de nombreuses formations jazz et musiques actuelles, notamment le trio Koma avec lequel il jouera en 1ère partie d’Avishai Cohen et en final du tremplin Icart Session au Bataclan.
He co-composes and plays on the 1st EP of the trio, We Jump, released in 2019. The group is one of the founders of the Parisian collective “Hira”, launched in 2021.
