With Steve Browman and Peter Giron Steve Browman has been teaching jazz for 55 years. A pianist with a master’s degree in music composition from Brooklyn College Conservatory (C.U.N.Y), and a former teacher at the American School for 15 years between 1994 and 2008, he has performed throughout the United States, Canada, France, Norway, India, Sri Lanka, Tunisia and the French Caribbean. His trio has performed extensively in New York and Paris. His compositions are played in the United States, Europe and India.
Peter Giron is a bassist who over the years has worked with a wide range of musicians, including Charles Earland, John Purcell, Luther Allison, Kurt Elling, Dave Liebman, Rhoda Scott, Hal Singer, Kirk Lightsey, Sarah Morrow and many others. He taught at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Montpellier and was a member of the former teaching staff of the American School of Modern Music from 1988 to 2016. He was co-managing partner from 2005 to 2016. He has been co-director of IMEP – Paris College of Music since 2016.
