Born in 2023, the Brūme trio is the result of a collaboration between three young talents on the new European jazz scene: guitarist Robin Nitram, saxophonist Oscar Bineau and drummer Ewen Grall.

Deeply influenced by the music of Paul Motian, Berlin’s experimental scene and the underground sounds of Chicago, the group has released two EPs, Livorno 66 in February 2024 and Winter Session in May 2024.

Deeply influenced by the music of Paul Motian, the Berlin experimental scene and the underground sounds of Chicago, the group has released two EPs, Livorno 66 in February 2024 and Winter Session in May 2024. These opuses include original compositions by the three accomplices, who are actively evolving on the European scene (Paris, Brussels, The Hague…).

In July 2024, the group won first prize at the European jazz competition in Avignon!

An album is currently being prepared for recording at La Buissonne studio in 2025.

They merge perfectly in terms of timbre and energy, and fit together with a real group sound, showing a surprising maturity, already capable of developing their own unique music.
